VALUES VOTER SUNDAY
Voting, the Christian’s Salt and Light in the civil arena, is not only your right as an American citizen, but our duty as a citizens in God’s kingdom. If we are to have our Biblical values represented by those in public office, it is important that Christians be registered to vote and then prayerfully cast their ballot in each election.
We suggest that Values Voter Registration Sundays be held on September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th and October 7th and 14th to facilitate church registration efforts
To successfully sponsor Values Voter Registration Sundays, a church must have:

Pastoral direction and support is extremely important to ensure the success of Values Voter Registration Sundays. It is recommended that the Pastor announce that voter registration is available in the foyer beginning on Sunday, September 9th. Beginning on Sunday September 23rd it is recommended that a 1-2 minute video emphasizing voter registration be shown to the congregation. |

Watchmen Ministries Leader(s) review and make Pastor aware of the different videos available on the Values Advocacy Council website. These videos express why it is important for Christian Citizens to register to vote and then vote their biblical values. Length 1-2 minutes. Watchmen Ministry Leader(s) make recommendations to Pastor regarding videos that are suitable for use in church on Values Voter Registration Sundays. |

Watchmen Ministries Leader(s) to oversee and staff the tables in the foyer during Voter Registration. |

Watchmen Ministry Leaders are available to answer any questions that may arise. |

Watchmen Ministries Leader(s) collect completed voter registration forms for pickup by VAC volunteer(s) to be checked for completeness and compliance with Santa Clara Country Registrar of Voters mandates. |
There are distinctly different Voter Registration introductory videos on the importance of registering to vote. The messages are different to keep them fresh and interesting to the congregation during Values Voter Registration Sundays.
