Santorum Overwhelms the Field with 72%

Yesterday, at the Values Advocacy Council's March meeting, a Presidential straw poll was conducted. The results are as follows:

Santorum 72.1%
Romney 15.8%
Gingrich 9.2%
Paul 2.4%

Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was the clear favorite for the Republican Party nomination.

Exit polling revealed that most of those supporting Santorum lauded his extensive Washington experience, his dedication to his family, and his unwavering support of family values in America.

The Values Advocacy Council hosts bimonthly luncheon meetings featuring informative and interesting speakers on topics of interest to families in our Valley. Our January speaker was Mayor Chuck Reed speaking on the need for Pension Reform in San Jose.

Our May speaker will be Joe Infranco, Sr. Counsel from Alliance Defense Fund, speaking on the topic of the clear threat to religious freedom in America.
